the prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch, and fresh pastries with juice were delivered each morning. the staff was very cute and accommodating to every request. breakfast was really good, with a variety of freshly prepared options available.

The overhead light in the lounge was rather bright. I think softer lighting would create a more relaxed evening atmosphere. it felt a little too harsh during the evening hours.

The staff greeted us warmly and took our luggage to the room. A complimentary glass of fizz was a very nice touch. The accommodation was tastefully decorated, in keeping with the external period of the hotel. Breakfast had an array of choices cooked fresh.

The room felt small and somewhat dingy. The main light needed to be on, even during the day. It was hard to see into the cupboard with tea and coffee. The furniture seemed shabby, and I did not feel this was a luxury or boutique hotel.

The breakfast was cooked to order and used fresh, quality produce.

I was disappointed that our room felt small and dark. The main light needed to be on even during the day. A phone torch helped me see into the cupboard with tea and coffee. There was no comfortable seating available in the bedroom.
